JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and supporting data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies relevant to the manufacturing and supply chain of railing systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with the operations team to optimize inventory management, production scheduling, and workflow.
• Design and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
• Generate regular reports detailing production metrics, inventory levels, and shipment/delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate operational data into the company’s central database.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Assist in forecasting and capacity planning based on data trends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the railing or manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in data analytics tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
• Familiarity with the challenges and nuances of the railing or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
